Echos of a Still Day

Alicia van Thiel is a former NYC public school teacher, visual arts specialist, and member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She writes and illustrates children’s books from drawing, painting, and monotype, inspired by humor, warmth, strong character connection, and close observation of the people and natural world around her. She lives and works in the Pacific Northwest.
